We’re seeing significantly more year-on-year app take-up, content views and handout downloads – along with increased networking between participants at each event.
The use of mobile phones, tablets and laptops at events has become so prevalent that event planners need to find effective solutions to incorporate them into daily practices and, moreover, turn them into engaging and learning tools.
It is no secret that exhibitors attend events in order to find new business, re-establish existing relationships and demonstrate products and services. There are also a host of other reasons but these fundamental objectives are the reason that exhibitions exist.

For too long event goers have been setting in plenary halls listening to speakers and watching boring PowerPoint slides. Thanks to mobile technology and Event Apps we are not turning attendees into participants.
Yes, these are very concerning breaches. This has prompted our customers and potential customers to ask the question “How secure is our app and what does Core-apps do to prevent something like this from happening to us”?
There are a host of new and emerging technologies that has been or could be deployed at events in order to enhance the experience of all stakeholders. iBeacon is one that can provide great benefits to all involved in your next event and is certainly a tool that should be watched closely as mobile event app integration increases.
The justification for having a native Event App has now moved beyond reasons that solely benefit the event organizer (being green, going paperless, creating revenue streams or being able to communicate changes to participants in real time) to those that also benefit the event attendees, turning them into participants.
